"I would recommend the short story form, which is a lot harder to write since you have to be so careful with words..."
Anne McCaffrey

In a short story you must have a beginning, a middle and an ending and you must achieve this in a very small amount of words. It is a hard thing to craft and the authors in The Dragon Book have created truly amazing pieces of writing, that grip us from the start and take us on a short whirlwind of adventure.

If you believe that you have got what it takes to write a great short story than enter this great competition, to win the chance to have your work critiqued by one of the fabulous authors in the book.
